Is it time?
Signs a loved one may need a hand.
Families often notice small changes first. Any one of these is worth a conversation.
- Skipping showers or wearing the same clothes for days
- A fall, a near fall, or trouble getting up from a chair
- Accidents with the toilet, or avoiding going out because of them
- Meals skipped, or weight loss you can’t explain
- Bruises from bumping into furniture or doorways
- A spouse who is wearing down from doing it all
The right caregiver, not just the right credential.
We match around your family’s needs first. Sometimes that means a CNA or HHA caring for someone who needs lighter help today, because they’re the right fit or because needs are likely to grow.
01
Tell us about a normal day.
What’s getting harder, when help is needed, and what matters most to your loved one.
02
We match a CNA or HHA.
Personal care is provided by a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide, both trained for hands-on care.
03
Care starts when it’s confirmed.
Every visit is confirmed once a qualified caregiver accepts it, so you always know exactly what’s booked.
One rate, whatever the level of care. Personal care costs the same as companion care. Rates are set by the length of each visit, not by how much help is needed.
Questions
Personal care, plainly.
Comparing options? See personal care and companion care side by side.
How is personal care different from companion care?
Personal care includes hands-on help, such as bathing, dressing, toileting and transfers. Companion care is non-hands-on: company, meals, errands and help around the house. A CNA or HHA providing personal care can do both during the same visit.
Does personal care cost more than companion care?
No. The rate is the same whatever level of care your loved one needs. Rates depend on the length of each visit. Straightforward pricing, no enrollment or placement fees. See pricing.
Who provides personal care?
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA). Both are trained for hands-on personal care. We match the caregiver to your loved one’s needs, personality and schedule.
How short can a visit be?
Visits start at one hour, so you pay only for the time you need. Many families start with a morning visit for bathing and dressing.
Can a caregiver give medications?
No. Caregivers can remind someone to take medications they manage themselves, but they don’t administer medications, give injections or provide wound care.
Do you accept Medicare or insurance?
We accept private pay and long-term care insurance. We don’t bill Medicare or Medicaid.
Where is personal care available?
Across Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard counties. See the towns in our service area, and call (407) 599-1900 to confirm caregiver availability for your address.
