What an hour can cover.

Short visits work best when they’re planned around the hardest part of the day. A few common ones:

A morning start

  • Help in and out of the shower
  • Getting dressed for the day
  • Breakfast and a tidy kitchen

A midday check-in

  • Lunch made and eaten
  • Medication reminders
  • A walk or some fresh air

An errand or appointment

  • A ride to the doctor or pharmacy
  • Grocery shopping together
  • Company in the waiting room

An evening wind-down

  • Dinner and dishes
  • Changing for bed
  • Making sure doors are locked

Around the house

  • Laundry and changing sheets
  • Light housekeeping
  • Sorting the mail together

A break for you

  • Time off for a family caregiver
  • Cover for an appointment or trip
  • A regular afternoon to recharge

Need hands-on help like bathing or toileting? That’s personal care. Company, meals and errands are companion care. Both can be booked by the hour.

Flexible, not fixed.

Your schedule is set by your family’s week, not by a minimum shift.

From one hour

Book a single hour when that’s all the help needed. Many families start small and add time later.

Longer shifts

Half days, full days and overnights are available when we have a caregiver who fits your schedule.

Room to change

Add hours, reduce them or pause care as needs change, within the terms of your service agreement.

Every visit is confirmed once a qualified caregiver accepts it, so you always know exactly what’s booked.

How hourly pricing works.

Rates are set by the length of each visit, not by the kind of care. Shorter visits cost more per hour because the caregiver’s drive is the same whether they stay one hour or eight.

$37.50

per hour, under 4 hours

$33.00

per hour, 4 to under 8 hours

$26.75

per hour, 8 hours or more

How short can a visit be?

Visits start at one hour. You pay only for the time you need, and you can add more time later.

Can we book care just once or twice a week?

Yes. Some families book a single visit a week. Others book several visits a day. The schedule is built around what your loved one needs.

Why do shorter visits cost more per hour?

A caregiver drives to every visit, whatever its length. The higher hourly rate for short visits keeps those visits worth the trip, so they can be reliably covered.

Is hourly care personal care or companion care?

Either. Hourly describes how care is scheduled. Personal care includes hands-on help like bathing and dressing. Companion care covers company, meals, errands and help around the house. Both cost the same.

Can a caregiver stay overnight?

Yes, when we have a caregiver available for your schedule. Tell us about your loved one’s nights and we’ll recommend an arrangement.

Where is hourly care available?

Across Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard counties. See the towns in our service area, and call (407) 599-1900 to confirm caregiver availability for your address.
