Caregiver careers at TenderCare.
We’re looking for reliable, kind CNAs, HHAs and companions across Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard counties. Choose your schedule, from one-hour visits to longer shifts.
Roles we refer.
Apply for the role that matches your training. Companions don’t need a license or certification.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Hands-on personal care such as bathing, dressing and transfers. Requires a current Florida CNA certification.
Home Health Aide (HHA)
Hands-on personal care. Requires documented completion of at least 40 hours of HHA training.
Companion
Company, meals, errands, rides and light housekeeping. No license or certification required.

How to get started.

Apply online.
Complete the TenderCare registry application. You can apply before you have every document ready.

Talk with us.
We’ll review your application, answer your questions and explain how referrals and pay work.

Send your documents.
ID, Level 2 background screening, health statement, training certificates and credentials. See the required documents.

Receive your first referral.
Once your file is complete, we’ll start matching you with families near you.

Questions
Working with TenderCare, plainly.
Am I an employee?
No. Caregivers referred by TenderCare work as independent contractors. You control which referrals you accept, and you’re responsible for your own taxes. A tax professional can explain which expenses you may be able to deduct.
What background screening is required?
A Florida Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, completed before your first referral.
Do I need a license to be a companion?
No. Companions don’t need a license or certification, but the general registry requirements, including background screening and a statement of health, still apply.
How short are visits?
Visits start at one hour. Many caregivers combine longer placements with shorter visits.
