Home Care Services
Home care services
Home care, matched to the help you actually need.
Most families don’t start with a care category. They start with a worry. Tell us what’s happening at home, and we’ll match the right kind of caregiver to it.
Straightforward pricing, no enrollment or placement fees.

Start with what’s happening at home.
You don’t need to know the terminology. Find the situation that sounds most like yours, and we’ll translate it into the right kind of help.

A flexible schedule
Either kind of care, arranged around your week.
04
Honestly, I’m not sure what we need.

A conversation
Tell us about a normal day and we’ll recommend a starting point.
Two kinds of help. One clear line between them.
The difference comes down to one question: does your loved one need someone’s hands to stay safe and comfortable?

Hands-on
Personal care
For someone who needs physical help with the routines of the day.
- Bathing and showering
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting and continence care
- Getting in and out of bed or a chair
- Steadying support while walking

Non-hands-on
Companion care
For someone who’s largely independent but shouldn’t be alone, or who needs help keeping the household running.
- Conversation and company
- Preparing meals
- Errands and grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Reminders and daily routines
A simple test. If they need a steadying hand, into the shower, up from a chair, into their clothes, that’s personal care. If they need presence and practical help, that’s companion care. Needs change, and care can change with them.
Any schedule, from a single hour.
Flexible scheduling isn’t a separate kind of care. It’s how personal care or companion care fits into your week. See hourly and flexible care.
Short visits
Visits from as little as one hour, so you pay only for the time you need.
Regular routines
A few hours a few days a week, or longer daytime shifts, arranged around your family’s week.
Room to change
Start, pause or adjust care as needs change, within the terms of your service agreement.
Every visit is confirmed once a qualified caregiver accepts it, so you always know exactly what’s booked.
Questions
Good to know.
Plain answers to the questions families ask us most.
What does “nurse registry” mean?
TenderCare is licensed by Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration as a nurse registry. We match families with qualified independent caregivers, including CNAs, HHAs and companions, who contract to provide care in your home. See how TenderCare works.
Is this medical care?
No. TenderCare arranges non-medical care at home. Caregivers don’t give injections or IV therapy, provide wound care, or administer medications. CNAs and HHAs can remind someone to take medications they manage themselves; companions don’t handle medications.
Can personal care and companion care be combined?
Yes. A CNA or HHA providing personal care can also offer companionship and help around the house during the same visit. If needs grow, care can move from companion care to personal care.
How does pricing work?
Straightforward pricing, no enrollment or placement fees. Rates depend on the length of each visit. See current pricing.
Do you accept Medicare or insurance?
We accept private pay and long-term care insurance. We don’t bill Medicare or Medicaid.
Where do you provide care?
Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard counties. See our service area for the towns we serve, or call and we’ll confirm for your address.
Not sure where to start?
Tell us about a normal day. We’ll take it from there.
Most families aren’t sure what kind of care fits, and that’s fine. Describe what’s happening, and we’ll recommend the right type of caregiver and schedule.
